In keeping with tradition, Aberdeen Crossings celebrated our 8th anniversary with our annual classic car show! Residents and their families enjoyed a sunny day full of delicious food, live music, game, and great company.
Residents reviewed a group of 20 beautiful classic cars to vote on their favorite. Once the votes were all tallied, the winning car owners took home some great gift cards!
We had live entertainment by Dennis Chandeer and the Stratophonics, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and a bunch of delicious side dishes. We also had a visit from the East Coast Custard ice cream truck!
One of the highlights of the event was a visit from the Euclid Beach Thriller roller coaster car. Many of the Residents and Family members went for rides in the car, throughout the event. Euclid Beach was a favored amusement park here in Cleveland, most if not all of our residents would go there frequently as children and young adults. Although it closed in the mid 70’s, the coaster car brought back fond memories for the residents and their families. Hands up!
After returning from this ride, Bertie (pictured above) stated, “I need a shirt that says I survived the thrill ride at Aberdeen Crossings!”
